Introduction

Classification of class D amplifiers

Class D

Our product

Classe G

It is a variant of the amplifier class A (is a kind of class AB combined with a class C) is fed by two sources, a low voltage and another with a higher voltage. When the signals have a low amplitude the amplifier is connected to the small supply, and if the signal is strong the amplifier is connected to the big supply,  that is to say its own power supply deals with ridges of modulation.

Class T

It is a variant of class D (which we will treat a depth later) operating at a frequency of 650 kHz with a modulation system owner.

Class H

It is a class G whose supply "peak" varies depending on the signal, this class describes the power of the amplifier is switching and is associated with another class (often a or AB).

In this family there is also the class D, which one we will look deeper because it is the technology used in our mini speakers quality Hi-Fi.
