Objective: is our product Hi-Fi?
The product we studied has a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) board with an analog interface (TAS3204) and two class D amplifiers (TPA2008D2). It has analog input and outputs but the system works in a digital way, using DACs and ADCs and a command microprocessor (8051). After the treatment by the DSP , the signal goes to the amplifiers which are connected to the speakers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the components of our system to deduce whether it meets the characteristics of the Hi-Fi (see definition of HI-Fi).
